The Compelling Tale Of Mr X

Mind Control, Emotional Manipulation, Psychic, and Psychological Warfare and the Rise of Mr X

I recently had the misfortune of observing a rather cruel and an overt act of attempted mind manipulation and deception within a social media forum. Its purpose, which was created through very dark synchronizations was enacted to destroy relationships. The perpetrator may have been psychologically weak and quite open to being a puppet of destructive external forces or they may have been fully cognizant of what they were doing. Fortunately the “trap” was side-stepped by the intended targets who are well aware of these mind control tactics, but the intention of a very debilitating, and destabilizing force through the seeding of poisonous thoughts and emotions was a very tangible threat.

I do not wish to create unnecessary drama by naming the victims, nor shaming the perpetrator so I will not get into the specifics of the deception. Nor would exact details be very helpful to the majority of readers here as it involved very dark synchrocities that would require extensive background knowledge of all parties involved. It is sufficient to simply say that a highly deceptive video and Facebook post were made, and was purposefully launched at one of the targets in order to create serious discord. The intention was to create hurt through illusion, and sow seeds of poison and mistrust through purposeful disinformation. A well known tactic….

The work of Mr. X. and his puppet.

The topic of “mind control” within the general public’s view is often portrayed as strictly the domain of highly paranoid and out of control conspiracy theorists, and therefore simply dismissed as not worthy of thinking about. Forms of mind control and manipulation, however are clearly evident to scholars and other interested parties as occurring throughout all societies, and cultures.

Mind control also known as brainwashing, reeducation, brainsweeping, coercive persuasion, thought control, or thought reform is a recognized scientific fact that human subjects can be indoctrinated in a way that causes “an impairment of autonomy, an inability to think independently, and a disruption of beliefs and affiliations. In this context, brainwashing refers to the involuntary reeducation of basic beliefs and values” – As defined by the Encyclopedia of psychology, vol. 1 (pp. 463-464). American Psychological Association.

I heard an interesting story from a young man who related having a sort of a revelation over a very simple form of mind control that he encountered while visiting a museum. He was being led about on a tour of the various exhibits on display, and saw some items very fragile and precious yet seemingly quite open and unprotected. He noted this and then asked the tour leader why there were no cordons or barriers guarding these pieces? The tour operator pointed to a series of yellow lines painted on the ground and stated these were sufficient, people in general will not cross over the yellow line…. A simple but effective means of control.

Consider the layout of your local grocery stores; products are displayed in a purposeful manner to induce or coerce you into purchasing the most profitable items for sale. This is merchandising 101, and quite literally is a very basic form of mind control.

Marketers use various mind control techniques in order to persuade people that they must possess certain items in order to be happy, loved, desired, or worthwhile. These have given rise to marketing based rituals ie; the diamond engagement ring, which was popularised by DeBeers during the Great Depression of the 1930s in order to make certain African diamond mines highly profitable. It worked. This ritual in fact is so ingrained within culture, that even persons with marketing backgrounds aware of its marketing roots will still override that knowledge in order to wear a diamond ring as a symbol of love everlasting. The advertising slogan “Diamonds are Forever” was invented in the 1950s and is still used today. The creation of rituals around products or advertising campaigns are a very powerful marketing tool. Even Santa Claus, the jolly Christmas Elf as depicted in modern Western culture has some of his popularised origins in the marketing of Coca Cola.

Corporations utilize “brainwashing techniques” in order to create a work force which shares the same common values and culture in order to create a world-wide monocultural network of producers, consumers, and managers. Governments, military, intelligence gathers, religions, educational systems, mass media, social media, all utilize psychologically manipulative techniques and social engineering as a means of control.
Philip Zimbardo defines and describes the reality of mass mind manipulation within “Mind Control: Psychological Reality or Mindless Rhetoric?”

“Mind control is the process by which individual or collective freedom of choice and action is compromised by agents or agencies that modify or distort perception, motivation, affect, cognition and/or behavioral outcomes. It is neither magical nor mystical, but a process that involves a set of basic social psychological principles. Conformity, compliance, persuasion, dissonance, reactance, guilt and fear arousal, modeling and identification are some of the staple social influence ingredients well studied in psychological experiments and field studies. In some combinations, they create a powerful crucible of extreme mental and behavioral manipulation when synthesized with several other real-world factors, such as charismatic, authoritarian leaders, dominant ideologies, social isolation, physical debilitation, induced phobias, and extreme threats or promised rewards that are typically deceptively orchestrated, over an extended time period in settings where they are applied intensively. A body of social science evidence shows that when systematically practiced by state-sanctioned police, military or destructive cults, mind control can induce false confessions, create converts who willingly torture or kill ‘invented enemies,’ and engage indoctrinated members to work tirelessly, give up their money and even their lives for ‘the cause.’ (Zimbardo 2002)

As a researcher of PSI phenomenon I know that there is a psychic component that could be termed “magical” or “mystical” that has also been applied as a manipulation technique. Beginning in the early 1950s intelligence gathering agencies such as the C.I.A, and K.G.B conducted top- secret research developing practical brainwashing techniques and experimentation with psychics with an ultimate goal towards psychic spying and warfare. This subject alone is too vast for the purposes of this article so for those interested I would recommend beginning with a reading of ESP WARS: East and West: An Account of the Military Use of Psychic Espionage, by Edwin May, Victor Rubel and Loyd Auerbach (see link at the bottom of this page)

CIA experiments using various psychedelic drugs such as LSD and Mescaline drew from the Nazi scientific research during World War II and was also conducted without consent on psychiatric patients here in Canada under the auspices of Project MKULTRA. Psychic driving was a psychiatric procedure of the 1950’s and 60’s in which patients were subjected to a continuously repeated audio message on a looped tape to alter their behaviour. In psychic driving, patients were often exposed to hundreds of thousands of repetitions of a single statement over the course of their treatment. They were also concurrently administered muscular paralytic drugs such as curare to subdue them for the purposes of exposure to the looped messages. The procedure was pioneered by Dr. D. Ewen Cameron, and used and funded by the C.I.A.

Yet another form of mind control are thought-terminating cliches, also known as thought-stoppers. These are keywords or phrases that discourage critical thought and meaningful discussion about a given topic. These are often disguised as a short cultural truism such as “Stop thinking so much,” “Here we go again,” “There is no point,” “I cannot change anything, why bother.” They offer seemingly simple answers to complex questions or that distract attention away from other lines of thought. (Clampitt, Lee 2007) These thought-terminating cliches abound within social media memes, and groups and forums that further serve to cater to group minds by fostering sycophants, and echo chambers.

Today through a mass media, which is driven by corporate press releases far more often than unbiased journalism, fake news items, fake photographs, and hoaxes on the Internet, we are continually subjected to a further control of information, which in turn shapes our thoughts, our feelings and our behaviour. People are beginning to lose faith in what they read, see, and hear and the backlash could very well be a populace unable to trust or question anything, which could open the door to some ultimate purveyor or authority of “truth” to rise and fill the vacuum……..

Scary.

All of the above information has been very well documented and establishes a long history of various forms of mind manipulation throughout societies and cultures, and within every aspect of our modern daily lives.

Highly controversially discussions on the possible use of psychotronic technology or electromagnetic weapons to control group and individual minds are a very frightening aspect to this subject. This is out of my own area of expertise and I will leave it to others to explore, but this quote from the Washington Post is rather disturbing in regards:

“In 2002, the Air Force Research Laboratory patented precisely such a technology: using microwaves to send words into someone’s head Rich Garcia, a spokesman for the research laboratory’s directed energy directorate, declined to discuss that patent or current or related research in the field, citing the lab’s policy not to comment on its microwave work. In response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed for this article, the Air Force released unclassified documents surrounding that 2002 patent records that note that the patent was based on human experimentation in October 1994 at the Air Force lab, where scientists were able to transmit phrases into the heads of human subjects, albeit with marginal intelligibility. Research appeared to continue at least through 2002. Where this work has gone since is unclear the research laboratory, citing classification, refused to discuss it or release other materials”

This brings me to the idea of a Mr X.

Psycho-spiritual warfare enacted through religion using mind manipulation techniques to create fear and trauma is utilised in order to control the masses in a variety of ways. Religious violence, gender roles, misogyny, and sexuality are among the most mind controlled and manipulated of belief systems. As someone who subscribes to the concept of a Universal mind or a Collective Unconsciousness in the Jungian sense I have considered if it is this repression and suppression of basic human feelings through guilt, fear, and shame that has given rise to a darker Universal force or archetype?

So who is Mr X?

In my opinion Mr X may represent a dangerous abnormal psychology or psychopathy within the collective unconscious of humanity itself. Mr X. inspires violence, and hatred, and is continually nourished through fears, suffering, and ignorance. He utilizes and possesses unstable personalities and their bodies within social groups or as individuals for the purposes of inflicting harm on others in an ultimate form of control where both parties work in destructive concert to manipulate people through various means including dark coincidences, purposeful misinformation and cruel falsehoods. Mr X’s true weapon is Ignorance.

Mr X. has been known to target those who research controversial subjects such as UFOs and other branches of seemingly “forbidden knowledge” as perhaps part of a greater control mechanism of human consciousness development. This of course is all merely unproven speculation, but works with the ideas of societies, and cultures controlled through power structures that keep the masses apathetic, ignorant, preoccupied, and unstable.

How to defeat or subdue Mr X. is another question…. Perhaps the answer will lie in the ultimate reunification of both the light and the shadow aspects of the collective human mind? A fully integrated mind both light and dark, male and female, could foster a potential greater enlightenment through acceptance, love, knowledge, compassion and empathy., which in turn would benefit us all.

As is above So is below…..

I think it is imperative we strive for this…. only then when the true light of awareness is shed on “Mr X” will his false power over us be dispelled as the illusion it always was.

A dark creative piece from Totemtag that makes a very strong declaration of intention. Have a listen here:
